Fitness Games App
Working out is boring as f*ck. I can doomscroll for two hours without moving, but put on a ten-minute workout video and suddenly I've got somewhere to be.

💡 Idea: Fitness Games App

Source: Ernesto Lopez posted on X about a "$1M/yr app idea" he found while scrolling: an Instagram filter that turns push-ups into a game. The original video pulled 4M views. Thanks for the inspo Ernesto!
❌ Problem:
Working out is boring as f*ck. I can doomscroll for two hours without moving, but put on a ten-minute workout video and suddenly I've got somewhere to be.
Turns out I'm not the only one. Health and fitness apps convert 35% of free trials into paying subscribers, the best of any category. Then just 30.3% make it past the first renewal, dead last. People clearly want to get fit…they'd just rather be on their phones. Here's the idea.
✅ Solution:
A workout app that plays like a mobile game, using the front camera to turn body movement into the controls.
Players wake up to a new challenge every day, prop the phone against a water bottle and step back. Monday it's Flappy Bird with push-ups instead of taps, Tuesday it's Subway Surfers with squats and side-steps. Add competitive features like 1v1s or leaderboards and provide a shareable scorecard once the workout is over.
Each share is a free ad. Run a monthly challenge and let the finishers' before-and-after photos recruit the next batch.
Overview:
This is what game designers call chocolate-covered broccoli: Can it work? Yes, but the player experience MUST justify the workout.
