when I have really dumb questions i'll ask chatgpt or gemini because i don't want claude to think i'm stupid.
Welcome back. In today’s edition:
An idea to answer YC’s request for multiplayer AI
What actually is Frictionmaxxing?
And will open source robotics take over in 2027…
Let’s get into it.

💡 Multiplayer Browser Extension
Cursor Words
Source: Aaron Epstein put Multiplayer AI in YC's Fall 2026 Requests for Startups, arguing that AI is the one work tool people still use on their own.
❌ Problem:
AI has made everyone a builder. Sales teams are shipping their own CRMs, marketers are designing new websites, engineers are spinning up internal tools, and all of this hard work gets delivered into the team group chat as a link nobody can comment on.
Of course, the feedback then gets typed into a Slack message with a courtesy “thoughts?” at the end. And the pile keeps growing: Lovable alone sees a million new projects a week, with users reporting nearly a third are back-office tools and dashboards. Every web page should work like a Google Doc: click on anything, leave a comment and get an answer. Here's the idea.
✅ Solution:
A browser extension that makes every web page multiplayer, turning any link your team shares into a conversation on the page itself.
Teammates switch it on, pin notes to the exact spot they mean and see everyone else's appear in real time. Questions go first to an AI then passes anything it can't answer to whoever built it.

“Every web page” is a lovely pitch and a terrible launch plan. Find teams that are shipping tools every week, get them hooked, then spread to every department and client they send links to.
